When I lived in San Diego, I was not yet enlightened. Despite living in Gaslamp and working at SWRMC (next to the Pacific Fleet stop), I drove to work every day—Uncle Sam was willing to give me a car to use seven days a week and free parking right outside my office, but only a transit pass for commuting ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. The existing MTS map features some awkward angles and tight corners, and when I made this the Mid-Coast Trolley extension was under construction, so it seemed like a good time for a new map.
Notes on Design: I tried to move away from the existing angular setup in favor of more languid (you might say laid back) curves. Cameron Booth provided some great feedback, and I largely agree with it, but haven't felt the need to make a v2. The labels are in Open Sans, while the map title is in Gill Sans Ultra Bold.
